After many years of trying to do himself in using a motorcycle or surplus rocket, Evel Knievel passed away November 30 due to diabetes and pulmonary fibrosis. He was 69. Contrary to those who would like to make him a legend, the daredevil did not have a perfect record. His career was marred by a couple jumps where he was unable to deliver a spectacular crash.
