Another Medium Mangled
I create cruddy comics, weak watercolors, and now....awful acrylics. 12x12 Acrylic on clearance canvas. I have a more elaborate effort that is, as yet, unfinished (but not yet abandoned) that I will share at some point.
Acrylics are a neat medium - they can be thinned and layered creating a transparent wash effect similar to watercolor, or can be used opaque, even sculpted into objects and 3d works. Acrylics are water cleanable, but are a waterproof plastic when dry.
I'm working up the nerve to try some portraits. Apologies in advance to my victims.
